I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

DuncanClan

DuncanClan

Utah geocachers the DuncanClan issued this personal geocoin in early 2006. I've always admired it in pictures, and finally was able to trade for one, but it came to me via Germany. I'd like to tell you more about the geocoin, but the history link in the original thread announcing the geocoin leads to a dead end. The obverse appears to be Celtic in nature and the Duncan clan's Latin motto "Disce Pati" means "Learn to suffer" or perhaps "Learn to endure." The reverse features some coordinates at which there is currently no geocache, so it must be for bridge itself.
