I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

Project A.P.E. (Silver)

Project A.P.E. (Alternative Primate Evolution) was a publicity stunt staged in 2001 by 20th Century Fox for the release of Planet of the Apes. The red dots on the map represent Project A.P.E. geocaches that have been archived, and the green jewels are caches that are/were active at the time the geocoin was minted. The silver edition was available to anybody, and the gold version was only available to geocachers who had actually found a Project A.P.E. cache.
