I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

Caching Bug (Silver)

Caching Bug (Silver)

The Caching Bug is a commercial geocoin release. Its fabulous design and execution is how this scarab beetle crawled its way into my geocoin collection. The front of the coin features nine translucent enamel colours, revealing hieroglyphics underneath. Besides the gold and silver regular editions (330 minted), this geocoin was also minted in an LE glitter gold (100 minted).

Size: 45 x 40 mm
165 geocoins minted (est.)
