Kuntry Kashin

Conceived of by derschlings in August 2007, this coin was originally intended to be 'dipped' (logged into, but no left behind) in geocaches that the finder considered to be, well, crappy. The graffiti on the back was to read "This kash ain't worth a krap." However, that ran into some problems with Groundspeak. Ultimately, derschlings decided that cache owners who had the geocoin logged through their cache might become upset, rather than see it as constructive criticism. Years later, the geocaching landscape is overrun with crappy caches, and very few geocachers who will say so in the log.

Some of the graffiti on the back still retains the original theme: "waste of my time but got me a find" and "TFTC - logbook came in handy".

The geocoin was released in December 2007 in three finishes: Antique silver, antique gold, and an XLE version in antique copper (only 5 minted).

Size: 40 x 50 mm
