motogrrl Memorial

One year after motogrrl's death and the creation of this memorial geocoin, her friends offered up the final 100 geocoins for a very low price. They were only sold in pairs, both had to be activated, and only one was mailed. The other was set free in California to start travelling. Mine was released on June 2, 2007 by Marky. It was picked up right away, and moved 409 km seven days later. Three days later, it was picked up by myoptics who never moved it on and quit caching a month later. Such is the fate of most geocoins released in the wild.
