ArcticNomad 2007

Goose Bay, Labrador geocachers ArcticNomad's 2007 personal geocoin, released in August 2007. ArcticNomad says "An inukshuk is particularly interesting to GPS users of course! In the Arctic where distinguishing landmarks are often non-existent, people (Inuit) stacked available rocks into piles often resembling a person, pointing along a 'trail' as a method to find their way around. And of course, the Big Dipper was (is) used for navigation by many an explorer!".
