I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

BadAndy (Silver copy)

BadAndy is a geocacher from Idaho. He had this idea to get more geocoins travelling in the wild. It was to sell the geocoins as a pair, one gold, and the other silver with the word "copy" stamped on it. Both geocoins have the same tracking code, so they are no good as individual geocoins other than to keep one safe and sound in a collection (the gold one), and the other out seeing the world (the silver copy). I thought this was a great idea, but somehow I just have this need to put both in my geocoin binder. But wait... I ordered more! Therefore, I can have a traveller. Perhaps its first mission will be to go and meet its creator.
