Compass Rose 2007 (Blk Nickel)

At the time, this was easily one of the most sought-after commercial geocoins ever created. Once again, the Compass Rose geocoin sale resulted in a feeding frenzy and lots of disappointed people as demand exceeded supply. This despite the efforts of the issuer to gauge interest with a pre-production survey.

The geocoin itself is better than ever. A spectacular design with glitter-enamel presented in a variety of finishes. I was lucky enough to secure three of the finishes offered for public sale. Even the reverse of this issue is a nice design, unlike the 2006 issue.
