I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

KC8HNZ Monterey Bay (Copper)

KC8HNZ Monterey Bay (Copper)

KC8HNZ is an American Soldier stationed in Monterey Bay (at the time of this geocoin release). The design of the otter clutching his shell collection was a hit as soon as the idea was posted on the gc.com geocoin forums. At 5mm, this is one of the thickest geocoins I have ever seen. The map side is also nice, and both sides are coated with a thick epoxy coating. Nice geocoins!
