Reintje de Vos

Reintje de Vos (Reintje the Fox) was a Netherlands geocacher who succumbed to cancer in December 2006, a few days before his 46th birthday. He was known for the maps he created and his work as a web developer for Foundation Geocaching Netherlands. The memorial geocoin was conceived by his friends and fellow cachers, and his family made the final design choice.

All proceeds from the sale of this geocoin were donated to Natuurmonumenten (the Dutch organisation for nature conservancy). The special icon for this geocoin was donated by Groundspeak.
