I aggressively collected geocoins from May 2006 through to the end of 2008. Presented here are 986 of the approximately 1,040 geocoins I acquired during the frenzy.

Tsunrisebey - Raiders

This large shiny gold piece is the non-trackable personal geocoin of Montana geocacher Tsunrisebey. In Spring 2007, she had 200 of these Staff of Ra (Egyptian sun god) geocoins minted. The legends read "Thanks for the adventure" and "Raiders of the Lost Cache" with her geocaching name along the bottom.

Tsun added the gems by hand. There were 100 red gem geocoins for placing in geocaches, 50 orange gem geocoins for trading, and the remaining 50 had assorted colours with a maximum of 10 in each colour.

I am posting this coin over five years after obtaining it, so my memory is a bit hazy, but I am pretty sure I did not find this in a geocache. Instead, I recall that Tsun sent me a couple of these: one to keep, and one (or more?) to place in geocaches in Ontario. So, if you found one of these in Ontario, congratulations, and I hope you left something really good in the cache!
